Fhoras Associates was set up by Professor Peter Sharratt in 2014 to help government and leaders across public and private sectors to develop sustainable solutions to complex growth problems we face and help bridge the gap between strategy and delivery. He advises governments, industry, investors and promotors on managing risks and optimising value in meeting the growing challenges of urbanization to resilience and competitiveness. His focus is on break-through innovation in sustainable and smart infrastructure, urban systems design and connected development.
With a background in design innovation, management consultancy and applied research, Peter has over 30 years extensive international consulting experience in strategic planning and economic infrastructure transformation, corporate strategy and sustainability programmes, capital project delivery, policy and regulatory development.
He has held roles at director and management board level in FTSE 250 organisations contributing on market growth and service innovation, in, key client development and pathfinder projects and programmes: he initiated and led a number of significant projects ranging from developing the National Green Building Codes for Dubai, to new city development models such as Masdar and China's eco-city programmes; to ACA, the world's first Airport Carbon Accreditation scheme that now covers 40% of global airport traffic.
